Convention Models + Talent Agency Recognized on the Prestigious Inc. 5,000 List
ATLANTA (August 12, 2009) - Atlanta-based Convention Models & Talent, Inc. (CMT), has again been named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the country. CMT is ranked 2,814 on the prestigious 2009 list that provides the most comprehensive look at America's independent-minded entrepreneurs.
"We are honored to be included on the Inc. 5000 list for the second year in a row," CMT president and CEO Shelly Justice, said. "Our commitment to the highest level of client service has allowed us to establish strong relationships that have resulted in CMT's sustained year over year growth. It is a great accomplishment for me and my staff to have our hard work recognized."
Justice founded and launched CMT in 2001 after recognizing the international convention and tradeshow industry's need for sophisticated talent and staffing. She parlayed $2,000 and a wealth of experience in the industry into an organization dedicated to driving sales and marketing program initiatives for some of the world's largest corporations in a high impact, cost effective manner. Today, CMT is a world-class, international service company providing event-staffing, product specialists and corporate presenters for international tradeshows and corporate events worldwide. CMT represents some of the most respected brands and corporations in the world, including Roche, Merck, AT&T, General Electric, Exxon, T-Mobile and Anheuser-Busch.
While Justice has earned several business awards and accolades over the years including Enterprising Woman Magazine 2008 Enterprising Woman of the Year Award Finalist and Catalyst Magazine "Ones to Watch" award, she is also a driving force in Atlanta's philanthropic community. A member of "The Annie Oakley Shooters," Justice serves as sponsor chair of the annual tournament to benefit the Trust for Public Land (TPL), which conserves land for people to enjoy as parks, gardens and other natural places ensuring livable communities for generations to come. In addition, Justice volunteers with Hands On Atlanta, a community based program that works to meet critical needs for children and adults through civic engagements and volunteer services, and she served for five years as co-chair of The Many Lives You've Touched Program, that benefits the Georgia Transplant Foundation.
